Chick-fil-A’s Send Care to Others feature is a new ordering option that allows guests to customize a meal for someone special. Complete with exclusive packaging, add-ons, and a personalized note, care packages can be ordered through the app and delivered to the recipient’s doorstep with Care.
While conducting our research, we found that people appreciate special packaging. We wanted to design something picture-worthy and customizable for each special occasion. When the customer is ordering a care package, they can select the box design they want to use and the add-ons will go in the box.
Since the delivery drivers need to keep the food warm, we created corresponding stickers to seal the bags shut so they match the care packages. When a customer orders a meal and a care package for a loved one, the delivery will include a bag with the sticker and a matching box with add-ons inside.
Finally, the inside of the box will be printed with the campaign’s slogan “for the moments that matter.”
In addition to custom packing, we created a pack of stickers that customers can add to their care packages to make the gifts extra special. We wanted the stickers to be fun and colorful while drawing on iconic Chick-fil-A memorabilia. Customers can add these stickers to a care package.
