The team behind

BLOO

Enid Truong

Enid is the project manager for our team. She is a doctoral student in the Learning, Design, and Technology program at UGA and works as the Coordinator of Scholars Programs at the Division of Academic Enhancement. Enid is passionate about education, creativity, and community building. She hopes to finish her doctorate soon and continue her career in student support and instructional design.

Caroline Umila

Caroline is our team's lead developer. She is graduating this year with a degree in computer science and a minor in cognitive science. She enjoys spending time with friends and sunbathing on her porch with her pet cat, Nellie! After finishing up school, Caroline has big plans to move cross-country to work for a tech company called ServiceNow. She hopes to one day return to academia and pursue a graduate degree or PhD program.

John "Nick" Williams

Nick is our team's graphic designer and branding director. He is a passionate comic illustrator and designer who loves to explore all artistic possibilities. Nick has done freelance work for local Athens bands, the county parks department, and the Georgia Museum of Art!

Caleb Smith

Caleb Smith is our presentation director and one of the co-video directors on our team. He is graduating this semester with a degree in entertainment and media studies. He enjoys writing and producing various forms of media. After graduation, Caleb will be attend an internship with Disney.

Sherry Liang

Sherry is the content director for our team and is our other co-video director. Sherry is a near-alumna majoring in entertainment & media studies and international affairs. She's been a journalist with CNN and The Red & Black. She also writes for screen and leads a writers’ room. She actively avoids the question of post-grad plans.

Dr. Keith Delaplane

Dr. Keith Delaplane is our main client for this project. He’s a professor of entomology at UGA and specializes in bees.

Dr. Ash Sial

Our other client is Dr. Ash Sial, who is working with Dr. Delaplane on their grant. He is also a professor at UGA studying the impact of certain pests in fruit crops.
